PREPARING CONTINGENCY BILLS IN BiMS - PRESENTATION

As a part of the implementation of the Integrated Financial Management System (IFMS) and to simplify treasury bill preparation and processing, Government  introduced a centralized bill preparation system named BiMS( Bill Information and Management System Bill Informations and Management System (BiMS) . It is  an e-Bill portal for Claim Settlements by Drawing and Disbursing Officers (DDOs). The DDO's can prepare Contingent Bills TR 59E and e-Submit to Treasury .Drawing and Disbursing Officers(DDOs) can access the system through username and password. This application shall be used for preparation of bills relating to non employee claims on anology to preparation of employee related bills using SPARK application.Presentation on preparation of contingency bills in BiMS is given below.     I am a higher secondary teacher. I have taken an advance amount through bims during the last financial year march 2018 for a welfare programe for girls. Now I want to settle the amount with relevant vouchers through bims Now. I tried Bill entry through DDO, but the financial year is seen as 2018-2019. what to do
