USE OF "THEY" TO REFER TO A SINGULAR GENDER NEUTRAL PERSONAL NOUN

In English there are no singular gender-neutral personal pronouns other than "he" and "she". When we want to refer to a singular gender-neutral personal noun, if we use "he", it will create a gender discrimination issue. Nowadays using the male pronoun "he" to refer to a gender-neutral noun is considered to be male domination and making the female gender unimportant or inferior. The solution to avoid the gender discrimination in English language is to use the singular "they".
